LAUNCH Rhein-Main was founded as a joint venture of the 4 largest student entrepreneurship initiatives in the Rhine-Main region.
The Entrepreneurs Club Mainz (ECM) is an initiative launched by students at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz to bring together students who are passionate about startups, entrepreneurship and innovation. The initiative offers its members the opportunity to participate in workshops and panels with founders, (venture capital) investors and other institutions in the ecosystem in order to develop professional skills. Through startup projects, which members can work on in teams, the development of personal skills is also promoted in cooperation with regional organizations.

thinc! is an initiative launched by students that offers a platform for everyone who is passionate about startups, entrepreneurship and innovation. With our location in Darmstadt, we connect students from different disciplines and support them through founder talks, workshops, incubators and networking events with founders, investors and players in the startup ecosystem. At thinc!, members can not only develop their professional skills through practical projects, but also work on their own start-up ideas in interdisciplinary teams and strengthen their personal skills.

The Founders Club Frankfurt is a student initiative that was founded by students at Goethe University and has set itself the main goal of improving the startup culture in Germany and especially in Frankfurt. To this end, the initiative offers numerous speaker events where students can learn from successful founders and have the opportunity to network with other young startup enthusiasts. The Founders Club also organizes the annual GEC (Goethe Entrepreneurship Conference). With 700+ participants, this is the largest student-organized startup fair in Hesse and connects committed students, up-and-coming startups and experienced investors.

InnoCom is an initiative of students at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management that specializes in promoting start-ups in the Rhine-Main region. The initiative brings together STEM and business students to work together on solutions to relevant market problems and create an interdisciplinary ecosystem for the development of startup ideas. In addition to practical workshops in which teams are supported from brainstorming to the development phase, InnoCom offers a wide range of activities. The largest event, InnoDay, brings students together in a hackathon format to develop innovative solutions. InnoCom also organizes the regional Start-up World Cup, in which startups from Germany compete for a ticket to the global final in Silicon Valley.

LAUNCH as part of Futury - The Future Factory

The Futury GmbH is Rhein-Mains response to the "Leuchtturmwettbewerb Startup Factories", issued by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The Factory develops programs or consolidates existing ones to provide ongoing founders within the Rhein-Main area with all the support they need to launch their companies. LAUNCH Rhein-Main is an official part of Futury and poses as its earliest-stage program, targeting students and doctoral candidates in their ideation phase.
